Registering
How do I register for Camp Agape?
- Go to Camp Agape on this website and choose your location (Bozeman Redeemer, Bozeman New Beginnings, Belgrade or Kalispell).
- On that camp's website, click Registration.
- Enter your email and create a password, then click update info. (This is what you will use to log in to your account.)
- The system will email you a link to verify your email address. Check your junk or spam folder, especially with Hotmail, Yahoo or work email.
- Click the link, then register your child(ren) and pick the weeks and days you need.
- Click the update information button to complete your registration.
You can pay online during registration, at an open house, or when you drop your child off the first day (check, credit card or cash).
Can I register early?
Early registration is for families who attended Camp Agape last year. If you did not attend last year, please see “How do I register for Camp Agape?”
- Go to Camp Agape and choose your location.
- Click Registration.
- Enter your e-mail address in the early access code box. You must use the e-mail address our early-access message was sent to. Your e-mail can only be used once, so create your account and register your child(ren) at that time.
- Click Validate to create your account.
- Look for the verification email, click its link and continue with child registration.
Is there a waiting list if a camp is full?
Yes. We would love to add you to our waiting list, because spots open up when families change their schedules. Please create an account and register your child with us.
- Go to Camp Agape, choose your location and click Registration.
- Create your account with your email and a password, and verify your email from the link we send (check junk or spam).
- Add your child(ren). You will not be able to pick weeks and days when a camp is full, so click the Add Camper icon to finish.
- If a week or day is filled, add the specific days you need. We will add them when space opens, email you, and you will have 24 hours to tell us if you do not want those days.
What is the youngest age you accept?
It depends on the location. Our New Beginnings site in Bozeman serves PreK through Kindergarten. The Redeemer site serves 1st through 7th grade, and Belgrade and Kalispell serve Kindergarten through 7th. See each site on the Camp Agape page.
Camp Agape is fun and long, which can wear younger children out. We ask that children are potty-trained, and we know it can be hard for a child to leave mom or dad. You know your child best, so the decision is yours.
At camp
What is the typical day at Camp Agape?
- 7:30 - 8:45 am: Early check-in; your camper is escorted to an age-appropriate room to play.
- 9:15 - 9:40 am: Outside activity while counselors go over the day's agenda.
- 9:45 - 10:40 am: Song time with all ages (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri).
- 10:40 - 11:00 am: Campers go into their groups for the day and have group time.
- 11:00 - 11:30 am: Get backpacks, bathroom break, sunscreen and load the buses.
- 11:30 am - 2:00 pm: Off-campus activity with lunch.
- 2:00 - 3:00 pm: Load up and drive back to campus.
- 3:00 - 4:30 pm: Station time (craft, snack and activity stations).
- 4:30 - 5:30 pm: Age-appropriate room until the camper is picked up.
On Wednesdays we do not have song time, so we leave around 10:30 and get back around 4.
What if my child does not know how to swim?
Several campers do not know how to swim when they come to Camp Agape and finish the summer swimming. Our counselors follow set water policies.
- At the Bozeman Hot Springs, campers take a swim test. Those who pass get a wristband for the deeper pool; those who do not get a different color and swim in the shallow pool.
- At the Bozeman Beach, the Pond and all other water places, K-4 campers cannot go deeper than their armpits. In practice, most K-4 campers play in the sand at the beach.
Your account
How do I log in to my account?
- Go to Camp Agape and choose the location where you registered.
- Click the My Account icon.
- Enter the email and password you used when you created your account.
- If you forgot your password, click “Forgot Password” and the system will email you.
Accounts are separate for each camp location and each year, so you need to create a new account when you register for a new season.
I cannot find the verification email.
Check your junk or spam folder. A few email providers, such as Hotmail, Yahoo and many work addresses, often keep our verification email out of the inbox. If it still does not arrive, contact us.
Other programs
Do you offer anything besides summer camp?
Yes. Agape Care provides holiday and PIR day care, and Agape Academy offers a 2-5 year old program during the school year. Both meet at our New Beginnings site in Bozeman. Find them on the locations page.
